After having lived away from the Detroit area for 10 years, Rusty returned and got hooked on Detroit. Through a lot of exploration and laughs he fell in love with the city itself, its people and all the strange and beautiful things in between.
Stephanie is a Detroit resident with a hunger for great photos and adventures in the city. In her downtime, she can usually be found on the streets of Detroit photographing the city and its inhabitants.
Annemarie grew up in the Detroit area and has loved every moment of it. On a good day, she can be found hiking the trails of one of Michigan's beautiful State Parks. On a great night, you can find her rocking the mic in front of the karaoke machine.
Kam Carman always wanted a career in journalism, and Detroit has been lucky to have her. She was a Detroit television personality for 23 years, and spent 20 of those years on the radio as well. You can listen to her every morning with Jay Towers on 100.3 WNIC. Kam is onto the second part of her career and wants to spend it taking part in Detroit’s revitalization, and also, doing a little writing on the side. We are the lucky ones now.
Lori Wild is a contributor for Hell Yeah Detroit. She grew up all over the Metro Detroit area and lived on the east coast for a hot minute. Lori works in Automotive Marketing and is getting her Masters Degree in Community Development from the University of Detroit Mercy. Besides drinking on Sundays, she can usually be found in the gym working on her fitness, playing basketball, hanging with her dog, managing music video production sets and/or watching and supporting live talented local artists in and around Detroit. Lori is a self-proclaimed brunch connoisseur. Brunch is a place to laugh about the week that’s past, hope for the week to come while remaining present in the moment’s possibilities.
A web and graphic designer by trade. When she's not being creative, she's either outside growing new things in her garden, or saving the world from zombies/aliens/bad guys (via video games).
Erin "Rin" Bahr is a Metro Detroit resident whose passion is promoting positive attitudes in everyday life. When not working as a clinical lab tech, she can be found scouting out artisinal cocktail bars for the perfect old fashioned, checking out new local music and art, or nerding out over everything from science and sci-fi to self-actualization. She believes in Detroit and its surrounding cities and loves watching them flourish and sharing all about it. Her ultimate goal is to change the world for the positive, one person at a time.
