Bust out those cowboy boots and hats this Saturday, April 4, for the sixth annual Cowbell Pub Crawl benefitting Camp Casey! Camp Casey is a 501c3 nonprofit horseback riding program for children with cancer, sickle cell, and aplastic anemia, and their families located in Michigan. Through generous donations and compassionate volunteers, Camp Casey has spread the healing power of horses for over a decade. The event takes place in Ferndale and starts at 5:30 at The Loving Touch, 22634 Woodward Avenue.
The crawl will make its way to several other local bars and restaurants, including Como’s and M-Brew, and end at Twist Nightclub for some dancing and celebrating. Registration for the event costs $25, which includes a souvenir glass stein and discounts at each venue. Designated drivers and non-drinkers can register for the event for just $10 as well! Patrons are encouraged to wear their best western gear for “a rootin’ tootin’ time that 100% benefits Camp Casey”.
Registration can take place on Camp Casey’s site here: http://camp-casey.org/event/cowbell-pub-crawl/
