Spring in Detroit isn’t measured by the temperature, by the actual first day of spring, or even flowers popping up in gardens everywhere. As said by a friend, spring in Detroit is measured by the food trucks rolling into Campus Martius and serving Detroiters with some delicious eats. This year, Detroit will see even more food trucks than ever, with some new choices for the hungry customers.

Downtown Street Eats, now in its fourth year, will bring over 35 local food trucks and vendors to Campus Martius Park. The trucks will be around for lunch times during weekdays from 11am until 2pm through the end of October. The program is put together by Downtown Detroit Partnership and Detroit 300 Conservancy.

Some of the local favorites include Delectabowl, Hero or Villain, Los Dos Amigos, and High Octane Food Truck. New this year will be the El Charro truck offering its infamous puffy tacos.

Make sure to come hungry to Campus Martius this year so that you can try all of the options from the multitude of vendors.
